    1. JOB VACANCY (AHNI)
    Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative ( AHNI) is a non-profit organization that promotes socio economic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria. It was established as an affiliate of the Family Health International (FHI 360) to sustain FHI’s achievements in strengthening indigenous organization capacity in Nigeria. AHNI currently has its headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.

    M&E Assistant full term RANA 2 Kastina & Zamfara
    The M&E Specialist under the supervision of the project Director will be responsible for overseeing the RANA
    M&E activities, conducting overall program M&E and building capacity of staff and partners at all levels, assessments, classroom observation tools, and other education focused methodologies.
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENT STANDARD:
    *Bachelor’s degree or HND in the numerical sciences, development science, education research and evaluation, or related field, with at least 5-6 years’ work experience in monitoring and evaluation of education programs in Nigeria and other region. Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
    The M&E Assistant reporting to the M&E specialist will provide support to ensure that state monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project’s M&E needs, undertake basic data validation cheeks and routine quarterly DQA, enter program data into designated data management software for subsequent analysis, and maintain hardcopy data records on file for audit trail as appropriate.
    MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARD
    *HND/BSc./BA in statistics, monitoring and evaluation or in any other relevant degree, or ordinary National Diploma with relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation or data management.
    *Familiarity with Nigerian Educational systems and NGOs and CBOs is an added advantage
    *Working knowledge of data processing and statistical computer packages.
    *Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and working knowledge of the Hausa language desirable.

    1. The Technical officer, M&E:
    Minimum recruitment standard:
    *BA, BS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 1 to 3 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding in HIV/AIDS.
    *or MPH or MS/MA in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ATP) in resource constrained settings.
    *Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
    2.Techical officer, Laboratory services:
    Minimum recruitment standard:
    *BSc in Laboratory sciences or related field with 5-7 years post NYSC experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in provision of laboratory support for HIV/AIDS
    *Certificate of license to practice as a medical laboratory scientist is required
    *Expertise in hematology, TB and blood safety issues will be an added advantage.
    The Assistant Technical Officer:
    Minimum recruitment standard:
    *MBBS or similar degree with minimum of 1 year relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS
    *BSc. Nursing, public health, pharmacy or other closely related field with 1-3 years relevant experience.
    The Technical officer:
    Minimum recruitment standard:
    *MA.BS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 1 to 3 years public health experience at the state or community level or in the private health sector.
    *HCT experience and ability to understand full range of issues around HCT.
