NEW COLLABORATION STARTED
On November 26, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) welcomed the representative delegation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, headed by Vice Chancellor of Institute of Science and Technology Professor Steve Azaiki.
In the meeting with Professor Volodymyr Yarovoy, Rector of IAPM; Irina Klimkova, Director of Department of International Education of International Open University, IAPM representing Ukraine and Vice Chancellor of the Institute of Science and Technology Professor Steve Azaiki, International Director Sergii Derevianko, Dr.Emmanuel Yusuf Justus, Vice President (Africa) – International Education, Science and Culture, Management Academy of International Education and Dr. Inuwa Samson Ariko, Director Inuwa Farms, member International Education, Science and Culture, Management Academy of International Education representing Nigeria
The main purpose of the meeting was the signing of Agreement on establishment in Nigeria (Yenagoa, Bayelsa State) of Economics and Management faculty, where Nigerian students will be trained under IAPM programs that meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the National Universities Commission of Nigeria (NUC).
During the meeting both parties also discussed the possibility of recruiting students in Nigeria and to send them to study at the IAPM, establishment of pre-admission department in Nigeria, distance learning Masters and PhD programs and joint development of educational programs for students both in Ukraine and Nigeria.
